“Zombie Demolitions”: Resurrected FEMA Funded Demolitions in Central City

The following buildings in the Central City National Register Historic District were submitted by the City of New Orleans for demolition using FEMA funding. Some of the properties are active and the demolition approval process is moving forward. Some, however, are no longer eligible for FEMA funding for a variety of reasons, as indicated below.
