The 28 houses listed below are proposed for demolition using FEMA funds. Pre-demolition treatment measures & salvage assessments will be conducted in the next few weeks. Permitting, utility disconnects, and asbestos inspections are all that these properties are pending . The first of the historic “zombie demolitions” (FEMA funded demolitions) are being reviewed. On November 16, PRC staff attended an “alternatives to demolition” meeting with FEMA as well as representatives from the city and state.
