Demolition DENIED: 1222 Bartholomew St. in Bywater

Today the New Orleans City Council denied the proposals to demolish 1222 Bartholomew St. in Bywater. Kudos to the City Council, who recognized the renovation potential in this “cute” shotgun house. Thanks to everyone that wrote Councilmembers and expressed their position on this demolition.

We join the City Council in encouraging the owner of this house to sell to someone that will undertake this renovation project.
