“Zombie Demolitions”: Resurrected FEMA Funded Demolitions in Esplande Ridge

The following buildings in the Esplande Ridge National Register Historic District were submitted by the City of New Orleans for demolition using FEMA funding. Some of the properties are active and the demolition approval process is moving forward. The majority, however, are no longer eligible for FEMA funding for a variety of reasons, as indicated below.
