“Zombie Demolitions” – 9 FEMA Funded Demolitions Are Moving Forward, Comments Requested

The first of the historic “zombie demolitions” (FEMA funded demolitions) are being reviewed. On November 16, PRC staff attended an “alternatives to demolition” meeting with FEMA as well as representatives from the city and state. Some of the houses have already been approved for demolition by HDLC or NCDC (see below). If you have an opinion about any of these demolitions, email PRC staff HERE. 3009-11 Lafitte St – removed (under “renovation”)
